Welcome to Jared, Lou and Ben on their first visit
November 5 is our monthly first Saturday GameDAY at Berkshire Adventurers Guild in North Adams. Our scheduled game, Terraforming Mars, starts around 10 AM with Amy as table leader. So far Amy, Chris and Danny are IN. If you want to be included e-mail K-ban. We have room for 4 total….budget 3 hours to learn and play.
Next Wednesday November 9 game author Peter McPherson will be joining us as we play his two published games – Tiny Tales and Wormholes. Peter’s latest game, Fit to Print, goes live on Kickstarter on November 8 for publication in 2023 with Flatout Games. Hopefully Peter will have a prototype version of Fit to Print with him.

ON OUR TABLES:
Green Team Wins (led by Tim) 2022 party game played by 11 or us. Compare answers and if you correctly predict the majority answer you join the Green Team and earn points (else you are consigned to the Orange team). Think of this as the anti-Just One combined with games like Family Feud where the object is to match group answers.
Cahoots (led by K-ban) 2018 cooperative card game game with the object being to achieve a set number of goals. We won at the beginner level and was one goal away from doing likewise on our second play with the standard level.
Psychic Pizza Deliverers go to the Ghost Town 2x (led by Sean and Ethan) 2018 Japanese game reprinted in 2022. The Mayor knows where the pizzas and their destinations are located (as well as fences and ghosts) and the participants try to deduce the terrain and deliver their pizzas to the correct homes.
Arraial (led by Rob) 2018 tile selection and placement game – think Tetris goes to a Portuguese Party.
Get On Board : New York (led by Tim) 2018 flip & write game of bus routes….with 3 players the NY map board is used.
Habitats (led by K-ban) 2022 re-implementation of 2016 Cwali Dutch release by author Corne’ van Moorsel. Navigate your jeep on the central display of tiles and select tiles to add to your wildlife refuge. Animals score if they have adjacency to the correct terrain type, flowers always score, Gates, watchtowers and campsites can earn points as well. 2 group goals for each of 3 game years complete the point salad scoring. A clever puzzle game.
Alhambra (led by Sean) 2003 SdJ (German Game of the Year) that already has 15+ expansions and a 20th Anniversary Red Palace edition being released in 2003 with even more bells and whistles from author Dirk Henn.
Akropolis (led by Tim) 2022 tile placement game to build a city by going both up and out..
What the Heck/Hols der Geier/Beat the Buzzard/Raj (led by K-ban) Alex Randolph’s gem from 1988 that features bluffing through secret bidding. Tied bids cancel and lead to groans.
