Majesty: For the Realm – (led by K-ban) –  2017 release from the author of Splendor.though rumored to actually pre-date it. 30-45 minutes of gateway intrigue as play is drafting 12 characters to earn VPs for majorities and variety.

Truffle Shuffle – led by Tim…from the team that brought us Point Salad and Dollars to Donuts. Another very approachable filler to start a Gamenite. Draft chocolates to make assortments.

Lucky Number – led by Danny – 3rd time’s the charm….as this quick opener is getting a lot of play as an opener or closer because it is very short and quick to teach.

SONAR – led by Quinn – sink the other team’s submarine while trying to make yours difficult to track. This is the 2017 4-player stripped down version of Captain SONAR. Tense planning, plotting and deducing. Each team has a captain and a radio Operator.

Hare & Tortoise – led by K-ban – the first German Game of the Year winner back in 1979, though the game’s origin is English from 1973. Spend your carrots wisely to move, but chew those 3 lettuce and manage your movement. It only looks like a kid’s game. Still my favorite racing game.

Business – led by K-ban – the Sid Sackson 1998 auction/stock game (originally called the more appropriate “Plan Ahead”) a series of auctions for shares in order to buy combinations that change monthly and get revealed quarterly. We got through 3 Quarters.
