ON OUR TABLES:
Take Time 6+ tests (led by Tim) 2025 limited communication cooperative game where players must strategically play 12 cards facedown around a Clock, following specific rules for each Test. Players can work together through a series of games to pass all 40 Tests available in the game.
Sauros (2x) (led by Sean) 2026 dinosaur themed trick-taking, puzzle game, where players win tiles to then place on their player mats to align suits and symbols for dynamic scoring. The twist is the trump suit changes with each trick!

Featuring five asymmetric player mats and unique scoring conditions, each mat representing one of the five dinosaurs present in Sauros.

The game is played in a series of rounds. At the end of each round, the player mats are rotated. Once each player has played each mat, the points from all rounds are tallied and the player with the highest score wins.

Tussie Mussie (led by K-ban) 2019 two-player 18-card album card game by Elizabeth Hargrave (the author of Wingspan). It is based on the Victorian custom of sending secret messages through flowers. In turn, players look at the top two cards of the deck, then offer them, one face-up and one facedown, to an opponent. That opponent takes one, leaving the other for the active player. A round ends when each player has four cards, at which point the scores are tallied. The highest score after three rounds wins!
Xylotar (led by K-ban)  2024 trick taking game where players know only the colors of their cards and their relative order. Use deduction and observation to figure out the value of your cards, then bid to try to gain extra points. Before play begins, players sort their left neighbor’s hand of cards and pass it to them face down in descending order.  Each color can only be a certain range of values with one color (red except for the 3-player game) always being trump. Players score one point per trick and can earn a 5-point bonus for making their bid. High score after 3 hands wins.
Maharaja: The Game of Palace Building in India (led by Zach) 2004 Kramer/Kiesling collaboration with elements of area control and simultaneous action selection. During the game, the players take different roles and travel from city to city in India. Their architects build palaces and houses for the Maharaja. Of course, building a palace is expensive. Therefore, it is important to earn enough money in the cities. The first player who builds seven palaces is the winner.

Players choose their actions simultaneously, but reveal and resolve them in turn. Actions include generating money, building houses or palaces, manipulating the Maharaja’s movements, and choosing new architects (each architect has a unique power, but the more powerful ones come further down the turn order).

At the end of each round, the Maharaja scores the city he is currently in based on the number of buildings, and players receive money accordingly. He then moves to a new city.

Misfit Heroes (led by K-ban) 2026 Phil Walker-Harding card crafting game of recruiting heroed for their 4×4 tableau. The heroes consist of an opaque character card sleeved with a transparent attribute card, creating unique characters that have different races (human, monster or misfits), costs and requirements to recruit as well as effects that can influence previously placed heroes. By changing the characters and/or attributes there can be new heroes created for each time one plays the game.
Players have 4 options on each turn – recruit a hero, collect 10 coins, select a resource token or discard cards and draw 2 more than those discarded. During play, each character card gives a player special actions, such as earning money, drawing more cards, and (most importantly) gaining influence in the mountain, forest, sea, and city regions of the kingdom, completing quests. When a player has collected 6 influence tokens of the same type, they may claim a square quest token, which scores them a descending number of VPs or claim city tiles by turning in 2 of each of the 3 resource types (mountain, water, vegetation). When one player has completely filled their 4×4 tableau with heroes, the player who best utilized their characters in combination and gains the most VPs wins (quest tokens, trophy points, remaining resource tokens and for every 10 coins unplayed).
