Get on Board (led by Tim) 2018 flip & write game of bus routes where you have twelve rounds in which to build the best bus line in town. Each round reveals a new card that shows each player the route shape they must complete. Place your bus accordingly on the central board. Take the passengers where they want to go by connecting them and their destination to your bus line, avoid traffic, and gain as many victory points as possible!
TransAmerica (led by Sean) 2001 game of route building that comfortably handles 6 due to lightning quick turns to connect your 5 cities before the other players.
Railroad Ink (led by Tony) 2018 multiplayer puzzle game where player’s goal is to connect as many exits on their board as possible. Each round, a set of dice are rolled in the middle of the table, determining which kind of road and railway routes are available to all players. Players have to draw these routes on their erasable boards to create transport lines and connect their exits, trying to optimize the available symbols better than their opponents. The more exits connected, the more points scored at the end of the game, but players lose points for each incomplete route, so plan carefully! Will you press your luck and try to stretch your transportation network to the next exit, or will you play it safe and start a new, simpler to manage route?
Big Sur (led by Sean) 2025 multi-use cards game where players draft cards to use them either as resources to build new road sections or as the road sections themselves. Your linear path of cards will score for connecting terrain types and meeting other conditions. You can also add notable landmarks to your highway for other unique scoring conditions; these landmarks are based on actual scenic lookouts and locations on Big Sur.
Pioneer Rails (led by Tony) 2023 flip-and-write game using a cut down deck of poker cards (10-A in each suit) to build a poker hand and extend your rail empire across the new lands of the frontier, connecting various establishments to your rail network while trying to satisfy the demands of the locals.
Thunder Road: Vendetta (led by Sean) 2023 restored/revised version of the classic 1986 Milton Bradley game of mayhem on the asphalt. Players grab their crew, roll their dice, race their cars, shoot their guns, and try not to get wrecked. Players rocket their team of three cars and a helicopter down a stretch of post-apocalyptic highway and try to either wipe out the other teams or outdistance them and leave them in the dust. Each turn consists of a dice roll to determine car movement and a combat phase where you try to shoot or ram your opponents. The game board consists of two pieces of highway and when the lead car exits the front piece of highway, the back piece is placed in front (after dumping all the wrecks and slowpokes off of it) thus creating a never-ending game board. This new version features exciting new additions, including random hazard tokens, such as wrecks, oil slicks, and more. Damage isn’t merely one and done. Now, players draw damage tokens with exciting effects that can send their cars careening across the board. Players also have more choices on their turn, assigning one of their dice to their command board to repair damage, nitro boost, or send out their attack copter to fire away.
Pixies (led by Rob) 2024 drafting, set collection and connections card game, where players move through the seasons to meet little creatures emerging from a flower or sheltering in the hollow of a tree. Choose one of the revealed cards, but be careful which ones are left to your opponents! Place that card in your playing area according to its number. Cards placed one on top of another are validated and earn players points at the end of the round, as do the largest color zone and spirals.
