13 at Purple Dragon Games on December 8 for BEAR Night
Welcome to Domingos joining our group

We will continue scheduling one themed session per month. Rumor has it that Space games are on tap for a session in January (Terraforming Mars: Ares Project, Space Base, Cosmic Encounter, etc)
Our 12/15 session will start with pairing up for longer (up to 1 hour) 2-player games for those who arrive by 6:15 PM at Purple Dragon Games – examples: 7 Wonders Duel, Agility, Targi, Cosmic Encounter : Duel, Agricola: All Creatures Big & Small. Shooter 2-player games will prevail for those arriving later than 6:30 PM so we can start our multi-player gaming around 7 PM.

Sean is in the process of creating a Berkshires Gamers web-site for the group. All group statistics on attendance, games played and games led are there (and graphed) as well as all our session reports. We’re working on uploading photos, articles and links to add content.

Honey Bears (led by K-ban) – 1998 Reiner Knizia card game, later re-themed with the exact same rules and card distribution as Bucket Brigade., Racing with a twist, as the cards one needs to advance a bear are the very same cards needed to earn victory points – a delicious dilemma, indeed. This session the Blue Bears were very fast.

Salmon Run (led by Sean) 2013 racing game as your salmon race upstream on modular boards, avoid fatigue and unleash hungry BEARS and Eagles on your opponents along the way.

Carcassonne Hunters & Gatherers (led by Wendy) Standalone Carcassonne sequel set in the stone age. Instead of cities, roads, and farms, Carcassonne: Hunters and Gatherers (2002) has forests, rivers, lakes, and meadows. Add in fish and other animals to the mix.

Trendy (led by K-ban) – another Knizia classic card game (2000) recently re-themed as Whale Riders the Card Game. Will you join in the current fashion trend or go it alone….typical Knizia twists in a seemingly simple card game.

Takenoko (2x) (led by Sean) – 2011 Antoine Bauza design about gardeners cultivating bamboo for hungry Pandas to devour. Action selection mechanism to cultivate land tiles, irrigate, eat, cultivate and earn the VPs from goal cards achieved. Sean led two tables of Takenoko side by side at the same time (not attempted since K-ban did that back on Long Island, when Ursuppe/Primordial Soup was released in 1997).

7 Wonders: Architects (led by Emmet) – More Bauza as a 2021 standalone gateway game version of the original. is getting much love as it is short, accessible and flexible for 3-7 players.

Okey Dokey – (led by K-ban) 2016 limited communication cooperative with 4 levels of difficulty. Our intrepid trio won at the two easiest levels. Pandas are the important re-set cards
