ON OUR TABLES:
Spirit Island 2x (led by Melissa) 2017 co-op area control with a modular board that plays best with 2-3 players. The theme is of spirits protecting an island and keeping away the colonists. The natives of the island will help, though the ultimate goal is to protect the island itself. There are interesting, unique spirits that can be played in this game with really good depth for a coop. A favorite of both Melissa and Niko.
Ark Nova (led by Sean) 2021 very highly rated (4th overall strategy game) game where you plan and design a modern, scientifically managed zoo by building enclosures, accommodating animals, and supporting conservation projects all over the world. Specialists and unique buildings will help you in achieving this goal.
Framework (led by K-ban) 2022 Uwe Rosenberg (Agricola, Patchwork, LeHavre, Bohnanza) tile drafting and laying with the goal of completing 22 tasks before your opponents do likewise.
Mondrian: Color in Motion (led by K-ban) 2022 card game where players take turns placing cards, overlapping other cards either partially or completely, based on colors. As cards are placed, tokens are added where they overlap. Later, players may jump tokens to claim them and earn points. By the game’s end you’ve created a work of art.
