K-ban ditto on Planted, Downtown Farmer’s Market, Cascadia, Scout
Drew will reach into his big bag of games for a classic from years gone by.

ON OUR TABLES:
Scout (led by Ethan) finalist for 2022 SdJ, this Japanese card game has our group addicted to this quirky climbing card game that uses cards with numeric values both on top and bottom.
Blockers/Uptown (led by Drew D) 2007 multi-player abstract, playing your color tiles that are a combination of numbers, letters and shapes (9 of each) and trying to have the fewest contiguous groups/clumps of tiles to win. A nice opener or closing game.(30 minutes).
Switch & Signal (led by K-ban) 2020 multiplayer co-op of routing trains and their cargo to a depot by playing cards that reposition signals and switches.
Gutenberg (led by Tim) 2020 game where players take the role of printing pioneers in the 15th century. By carrying out orders, wealth and fame are built. By improving their printing workshops and gaining the support of patrons, production capacity will be developed. Most recognition and wealth wins after 6 rounds. By bidding for specific actions, players will develop their workshop, acquire new fonts, inks and decorations. The unique system of rotating gears allows you to combine bonuses and earn a large number of points. Worker placement with open drafting and auctions are the main mechanics.

Raiders of the North Sea (led by Amy) 2015 worker placement game where gaining resources funds the raiding of harbors, outposts, monasteries and fortresses to collect plunder and resultant VPs.

Potion Explosion (led by Drew Z) 2015 multiplayer abstract of collecting ingredients to make potions and become Student of the Year. Taking marbles from the dispenser creats chain reaction ‘collisions’
