Before each next round, the special die tells the next player (clockwise) to add, remove or swap a die before rolling.

Railroad Ink

(led by Tim) 2018 puzzle game where the goal is to connect as many exits on your board as possible. Each round, a set of dice are rolled determining which kind of road and railway routes are available to all players. Routes are drawn on erasable boards to create transport lines and connect to exits. Players are trying to optimize the available symbols better than opponents.

Retrograde

(led by Sean) 2023 game of simultaneous speed rolling of 6 dice. cards. Each round, players roll their dice as fast as they can. Race to roll combos shown on the target cards, claim the best card, and spend your dice to put the ‘Droids on your sheet out of commission. Be fast, or an opponent might beat you to the card you want. If you’re the last player without a card, you can only reroll 2 more times before you’re stuck with what you rolled.
