Vegetable Stock

(led by K-ban) 2019 single deck card game from Taiwan. A simple 6-round drafting stock market game, where the undrafted last card in each round sets the prices for the 5 Veggie commodities….but when they exceed a value of ‘5’ they crash to zero – ouch!

Twin Palms

(led by Sean) 2022 beach-themed trick-taking card game with a twist. Players bid the number of tricks (0-5) they think they will claim from their  ten-card hand. Two cards are played at once in each trick.

Velonimo

(led by K-ban) 2020 French single deck climbing/shedding game from Bruno Cathala, consisting of 5 mountain races.

The Networks

(led by Amy) 2016 game of programming prime time TV shows for competing Networks. For five seasons players draft/recruit shows for development, stars, advertisers and special abilities. The player with the most viewers over the 5 seasons wins.

Torres (led by Drew) 1999 Kramer/Kiesling classic design and the 2000 Spiel des Jahres winner. It is an abstract game of resource management and tactical pawn movement. Players are attempting to build up castles and position their knights to score the most points each turn. Players have a limited supply of knights and action cards that allow special actions to be taken. Efficient use of pieces and cards, along with a thoughtful awareness of future possibilities, is the heart of this game.
