A record 16 gamers at Purple Dragon Games on December 1

Welcome to Maggie and Jane on their first visit

Why do I insist on showing BGG (BoardGameGeek) listing, year of publication and author?
1) year, so we keep a healthy balance between the cult of the new and classics from the past.that you may have missed.
2) designer, if you like one game by an author, you’ll likely be intrigued by their other designs
3) videos of the game’s reviews and how to play
4) encourage you to make your own decisions on what games to add to your collection

Coming up (games that are table leaders are preparing for your enjoyment – recent KickStarter ‘Lizard Wizard’ (from the author of Raccoon Tycoon and Railroad Rivals)., Whistle Stop, Bear Park, Wingspan, Ecos, Rise of Tribes, Takenoko and more.. We’re trying to repeat games that are well-received by the group for 2-3 sessions – so all who want to try them have the opportunity.

The Crew (led by K-ban) achieved the first 3 missions and were wrestling with the 4th mission before our 10 PM curfew cut things short. A must play for anyone who loves trick-taking games as it challenges one’s card playing ability with it’s cooperative nature and limited communication
