Another session with a half dozen gamers at Purple Dragon Games. The mask requirement is no longer in effect (unless someone playing requests them) but Niko is checking for proof of COVID vaccination on your first session only

With 6 I’ve been trying to keep all on the same table as we get to know each other.
Hopefully we’ll have the breakthrough to multiple tables in a few weeks or so.

A Roll & Write before they were in fashion….roll 2 d6 and announce the sum for all to add to their 5×5 grid. Score quasi-poker hands to get the high score. 3 rounds played and totalled
Easy to print your own from the FILES section of BGG entry….laminate and get some Dollar Tree wipe off markers (3 for $1). PDF attached of a nice color scoresheet.

Ave Caesar – the original Wolfgang Riedesser designed 1989 Ravenburger chariot racing game later re-themed as Ausgebremmts (cars) and Q-Jet (space vehicles). Still tons of fun blocking other chariots (and the Caesar lane), gassing a space before the finish line and not being allowed to play ‘6’ cards when in the lead. www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/494/ave-caesar

Raccoon Tycoon – the Deluxe edition which allowed for the 6th player. Glen Drover design from 2018. Straight forward commodities market with auctions for railroads, purchase of buildings for $, purchase for special buildings with commodities…and it all ties together beautifully. Perhaps Drovers’ Railroad Rivals next week?
